Bluelight is a non profit youth organisation run under the auspices of the New Zealand Police. It aims at encouraging better relations between the police, young people, their parents and the community.
Bluelight provides young people with positive lifestyle alternatives and strategies to avoid becoming offenders or victims of crime. This is achieved by organising and running a variety of supervised cultural, sporting, social and educational activities in an environment that is free from drugs, alcohol and violence.
